About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.

As a Warehouse Operative working on a zero hour/casual contact, you will support the branch in covering any holidays or absences.

Main Duties include:

  • Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
  • Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge;
  • Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.


Working hours:

Up to 41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working - depending on the cover needed in the branch.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A great track record working in a fast paced warehouse, or similar environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • A good team player
  • Work efficiently with good attention to detail
  • Understand the necessity of customer service & working to deadlines
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable
