Baker / Production Operative

Gap personnel Group, operating as an employment business, are currently looking to recruit several Bakers / Production Operatives for one of our well-established clients based in Trafford Park, Manchester.
Main Duties: supporting with bread/rolls production, slicing, stacking, packing, hygiene.
Role is full time – term to perm for the right candidate.
Rotating shifts:
Nights 10pm till 6am Saturday till Thursday
AM shift 6am to 2pm Sunday till Friday
PM shift 2pm to 10pm Sunday till Friday
8 hour shifts – 20 minutes unpaid break
Key Responsibilities:
• Baking a variety of polish bread and confectionery items
• Hand moulding dough
• Using gas ovens for proofing bread dough
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a baker (overseas experience is welcomed)
• Expertise in using 6 and 2 pocket moulds
• Proficient in hand moulding techniques
• Familiarity with gas ovens for proofing bread dough
You’ll be required to work from 5 to 6 days per week.
Work is ongoing – full time.
Pay pate from £11.44h to £13.65 depending on experience.
Client is happy to accept staff with no bakery experience, as long as you are willing to learn.
