The North East Primary AIP would like to recruit an energetic, creative and personable Behaviour Support Worker who is driven and strives to make a difference in the lives of the children and young people we support.
The Behaviour Support Worker will work alongside the team and under the guidance of the senior staff in order to support the pupils in targeted interventions while attending the NEPAIP inclusion base and during reintegration into schools to secure the effective inclusion for vulnerable children.
We are looking for a team member who can demonstrate:
energy and enthusiasm, a solution focused approach, resilience and strong commitment to our aims in supporting the inclusion of the pupils within the city.
You will be joining a team of supportive, positive and dedicated practitioners who have created a secure, strong and inclusive locality-based support and provision for children with social, emotional and mental health needs, and the schools in the area. You will be an integral addition to the team as we continue to develop on our creative approach. You will work with children across the 3 cluster areas of the NEPAIP. These are EPOS, A.R.M (Alwoodley, Roundhay and Moortown) and 2gether clusters, covering an area from Wetherby to Harehills.

My colleagues are amazing and my manager respects me and does not micromanage. There are lots of opportunities to try different things and get involved on projects.

We are often weighed down compensating for lack of IT literacy, and many customers often complain that we cannot meet their demands even though we are often under strict budgetary constraints. The phones get unnecessarily busy due to issues that we are not trained to resolve.
