👦👧 SEMH Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor
📍 Location: Swindon
📆 Start Date: ASAP
🕣 Hours: Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:30pm
💼 Long-term role with the potential for a permanent contract!
💡 About the Role:
Join a lovely and welcoming SEMH setting supporting young people aged 8-16 with a range of needs including:
ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs)
Challenging Behaviours
You'll work closely with the classroom teacher to provide consistent, compassionate, and individualised support to help every student reach their full potential 🌈
🧠 What You'll Be Doing:
🤝 Supporting children with ASD, SEMH, and behaviour needs
📚 Assisting in planning and delivering engaging lessons
🎨 Creating fun, interactive activities to boost engagement
💬 Helping pupils build confidence and positive relationships
🛡 Maintaining a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment
