SEN Teaching Assistant – Hounslow

Location: Hounslow
Salary: £90 to £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time | Long-term

Are you a compassionate and motivated individual looking to support students with Special Educational Needs? GSL Education is currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive and welcoming school in Hounslow. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with a range of special educational needs.

Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to deliver personalised support strategies.

Help pupils build confidence, regulate emotions, and engage in learning.

Support students with mild to moderate learning difficulties, SEMH needs, and communication challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience working in a SEN setting is preferred.

A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.

A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Ability to adapt to the needs of individual learners and work collaboratively as part of a team.
