JOB TITLE: Security Officer

LOCATION: Wells Fargo, City of London

SHIFT PATTERN: 3 Days-3 Nights-3 Off, 56 hours per week

PAY RATE: £13.63 per hour

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive Concierge Security Officer to join our Team at a flagship location in London, in a fast-paced banking environment at its high profile headquarters

We are looking for an Officer, who has a can-do attitude, and excellent communications skills, that can demonstrate a proven track record

As well as part of the all important welcome into the building, you are the front line eyes and ears at our initial external perimeter for potential threats – surveillance capabilities are essential to this key role

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To deliver a Concierge Security welcome to the building, and hosting in line with Assignment Instructions, SoPs and customer requirements to protect our client’s employees, guests, property and other assets;

• Interaction with all staff, vendors, and guests, delivering first class customer focused service

• Completing and reporting regular patrols as detailed in the AIs

• Continuously look for opportunities to be of assistance, proactively helping wherever opportunities arise

• Actively participating in all incidents, and reporting appropriately in accordance with the AIs

• Liaising with the Control Room Team proactively reacting to incidents and ensuring colleagues are fully briefed and always supported

• Record/log all non-conformances and emergencies with the appropriate control room operatives

• Intelligent understanding of human behaviour, monitoring and surveillance of suspect individuals, logging, and reporting incidents in line with AIs

• Ensure radio procedures are always adhered to

• Ensure all events/incidents are recorded in the Security Officer notebook correctly and notebook policies are always adhered to

• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business, and duties as requested by your line manager

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• Current SIA License holder

• Vetting completion in accordance with BS:7858 Standard (solid 5 year evidenced work history required)

• Good communication skills both verbal and written

• Excellent hosting skills

• Positive mindset, team player, can do attitude

Desirables:

• CCTV

• IOSH Working Safely

• Banking or Professional Services firms corporate security experience
