What Toby Carvery employees say about their job

  • Best thing

The staff are friendly for the most part

    Worst thing

it’s a bullying environment with constant gaslighting and belittling of employees, making male members of staff wear female small uniform with constant arguments and lack of direction receiving no training

FOH team member at Toby Carvery, February 2025

  • Best thing

My team are top notch, love working with customers. Discounts are a nice bonus.

    Worst thing

Management are living in the clouds. General manager is more concerned with their yearly bonus rather than the team having the right levels of staff and working equipment, as one of the busiest in the country, it shouldn't even be a concern. Over state and hygiene of front of house is horrendous, at not fault of the staff however.
