We are looking for D1 school minibus drivers with a Category D or D1 entitlement on their UK license to drive a 16-seat minibus for long-term, ongoing temporary contracts during school term time

Location – Nailstone / Blaby / Melton / Loughborough / Mountsorrel / Croft / Sapcote (own transport is essential due to locations)

Shift Patterns - 90 % split shifts (min 4 hours per day), AM & PM
(*example of split shift = 7.00am - 10am / 2.00pm - 5.00pm)
(*example of full shift = 7.00am - 1 hr lunch - 5.15pm)

As a minibus Driver you are primarily responsible for transporting vulnerable adults and children with special educational needs including physical and /or learning difficulties to their School, Day Centres, and other activities.

Drivers will ensure (along with the escort) their passengers' personal wellbeing and safe/secure travel at all times, in accordance with the job description, relevant Policies, legislation, Procedures and good practice. Duties may also include transporting associated goods and services like post and meal runs during the middle of the day.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Held Full UK Driving Licence for minimum 2 years with minibus D1 entitlement
    Have no more than 3 points on your licence (no DD / DR)
    Either hold an enhanced DBS on the update system or be prepared to apply for one
