KS2 Teaching Assistant - Ramsgate

Location: Ramsgate, Kent

Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing

Salary: £80-£120 Per day

Are you a graduate who wants to become a teacher and needs classroom experience before applying on a PGCE course?

Are you an experienced or newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a new role local to you in Ramsgate?

Do you have an enthusiastic, positive and caring approach?

Do you have experience of supporting children on a 1:1 basis across Key Stage 2?

KS1 Teaching Assistant - Ramsgate

Successful candidates can start ASAP and work through to the end of the school year, with the potential of this being extended and becoming a permanent member of staff.

Successful Candidates will:

  • Have a team player approach
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have experience of supporting children of all learning abilities
  • Have strong behaviour management and good communication skills
  • Provide continued support for the teacher within a chosen classroom
  • To carry out one to one and/or small group work with students
  • Providing tuition and booster sessions with pupils working at a lower ability or on the Special Educational Needs register

You will:

  • Have either a Degree or Masters
  • Experience on your CV where you have worked with students in some capacity (ie Youth Work/ Teaching Assistant/ University Ambassador/ Graduate Tutor, etc).
  • Passionate about working in a school
  • Be ambitious with a strong yet also outgoing and warm personality
  • Imperative that you are flexible and adaptable
  • Have experience of working in KS2 Classroom Settings
