About the School - Akeley Wood Junior
Akeley Wood Junior School is an independent day school for children aged 1-11 years. It is part of Akeley Wood School, which serves children up to the age of 18 across three different sites in Buckinghamshire, all based in magnificent buildings in tranquil, peaceful countryside. We place a particular emphasis on high academic achievement, but at the same time develop students' individual talents and personal qualities in whatever direction those may lie. We lay strong educational foundations in preparation for Senior School whilst also developing in students a sense of purpose, a belief in themselves, firm friendships and a caring attitude towards those around them.
The school now has an exciting opportunity for a Wrap Around Care Assistant to join our fantastic team.

About the role
The Wrap-Around-Care Assistant is responsible for the delivery of safe, creative, appropriate activities and the general welfare of pupils in our After School Wrap-Around-Care. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe arrival of children at the club and the safe delivery to carers at the end of each day. You will set up the room for the daily activities and aid with the care and cleanliness of the rooms and equipment, including tidying the rooms at the end of the day.
This role is part-time; Working hours are 3.30pm - 6.30pm Monday to Friday during term time.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have previous experience working with children and have interest in the care, learning and development of children. We would expect a commitment to the provision of high quality childcare and excellent communication skills, with children, colleagues, advisors and parents/carers.
