What Morrisons employees say about their job
-
Best thing
I have a few close work friends that get me through each shift. Complaining about the job to people outside of work tends to get an eye roll because retail is an “easy job”. Myself and my coworkers can turn a bad situation into a laugh because well, if you don’t laugh you’ll cry
Worst thing
The managers don’t have a clue what it’s like to work in my role. I work on customer service desk/kiosk and it’s a constant stream of people getting angry and swearing at me all day long. It’s a massive toll on my mental health.
Customer assistant at Morrisons, February 2025
-
Best thing
A lot of holiday though we have to work bank holidays and Christmas to make up for it
Worst thing
The fact that the company has no idea how to save them selves money and wasted our time and just decides to constantly cut hours where they are needed instead
