THE ROLE:

With ambition to be the best Grill Restaurant in Scotland, Cameron Grill sits in the heart of Cameron House with wonderful views across Loch Lomond. This setting is intimate, elegant and welcoming, whilst accommodating 180 covers. You will support the Restaurant Manager to manage your large team to be confident, friendly, and knowledgeable in the delivery of classical grill A la Carte and TDH menus with a focus on local ingredients.

Table side theatre and sommelier service delivered with flair will ensure Cameron Grill's prominent role in delivering our vision to be Scotland's leading 5* resort.

As F&B Supervisor your scope will be to support the Cameron Grill Manager team by leading your shift and overseeing in the day-to-day performance of the team.

Key things you will be responsible for:
  • Proficiency in the tasks of Food and Beverage Assistant, including mise en place
  • cleanliness, setting tables, taking orders, service of food and drinks, billing and payments
  • Leading daily briefings and handovers
  • Organising the daily workload, delegate tasks and co-ordinate breaks
  • Monitoring performance via checklists and SOPs
  • Providing feedback, and undertake informal counselling to support improved performance
  • Supporting the team with any shift challenges
  • On job training of new employees
  • Handling and resolving guest feedback
  • Departmental requisitions
  • Billing queries, adjustments and recoveries
  • Cash ups and banking

  • Experience of supervision and of working in similar quality Food and Beverage environment
