Store manager at Trespass, February 2024

  • Best thing

The rotas are usually done in advance and it’s easy to request holiday / specific days if needed.

    Worst thing

Pay is terrible, everyone is minimum wage, key holders get an extra 10p, supervisors 20p, senior supervisors 40p on top of the minimum wage for your age. E.G a 20 year old senior supervisor would still get less than a 30 year old sales assistant because of their age. There’s a lot of pressure around things that you don’t understand such as targets, you’re often left alone to figure things out yourself. Head office are always angry about something, if one store does something wrong the whole area is punished. There’s not much care around well-being, head office won’t fix things wrong in the shop and it’s just something you have to deal with, punished for not travelling to help other stores (some over 2hours away) so long as you’re making money they don’t care what else happens. A lot of bias towards staff members on all levels - you can easily tell who isn’t a favourite.
