Job Description
  • 37.5 hoursper week over 5 days (minimum guaranteed)
  • Basic hourly rate of £12.58(Inclusive of a 10% shift allowance for working the PM Shift)*
  • 14:00 - 22:00 Shift hours
  • Overtime and extra shifts are available during peak trading times paid at time and a half
  • 7th shift paid at double time

*Your basic hourly rate will be £11.44per hour plus a 10% shift allowance

ArrowXL is now recruiting for Warehouse Operativesto join our supportive warehouse team, situated at our Wigansite operating on a 5/7 shift pattern.Whilst you may not come face to face with our customers, you will be one of the unsung heroes that work behind the scenes ensuring our delivery crews are loaded up ready to deliver the ArrowXL promise.

Main Responsibilities

Your role will include:

  • Picking customers’ orders from location
  • Accurately loading and unloading both inbound and outbound vehicles
  • Checking paperwork is completed correctly
  • Safely moving and correctly categorising customer items within the warehouse
  • Complying with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Working as a team
  • Safely using ArrowXL technical equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
  • Representing ArrowXL to the highest standard
The Ideal Candidate

It is essential that you have:

  • Experience working in a similar, fast-paced operational environment
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to prioritise Health and Safety for yourself and your colleagues
  • Confidence to work with computer systems (specific system training will be provided)
  • A reliable, punctual and flexible approach
