Teaching Assistant

Position: Teaching Assistant (General Support - KS1)
Location: SK15, Glossop
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £80 - £93 per day
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in KS1. This full-time, long-term role offers the opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the classroom, including those with additional needs. Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

Support KS1 pupils with general classroom activities and one-to-one help
Provide targeted support for pupils with various needs (including SEND)
Assist teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies
Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment
Help with social and emotional development during unstructured timesRequirements for the Teaching Assistant:

Experience working with primary-aged children (KS1 experience is a bonus)
Patient, empathetic, and a team player
Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students and staff
