  • Best thing

If you enjoy driving go for it or if you want a first job it’s fine

    Worst thing

Management are a mess, in the year we’ve been open at this new store we’ve had nearly 6 changes in management, you don’t get breaks even though were apparently entitled to them, the pay is shit and the hours aren’t enough, you’ll constantly be overworked and never have enough staff when it’s busy and constantly be stressed about your times so you don’t get a PA (personal agreement) which means you’re on your last legs at the company.

    Worst thing

    3.7

Delivery driver at Domino’s Pizza, November 2024

  • Best thing

50% off all food. Very easy as breaks aren’t arranged you can just sit out for a bit until the kitchen starts to get busy or cleaning up is needed. MY manager is funny and friendly (the neighbouring Dominos a town across isn’t as nice). It’s easy to get the hang of things. Your not alone, so any stres you’re under at work everyone else is so you can empathise with everyone.

    Worst thing

Can get very stressful. Small mistakes can make things more stressful. I’m called in on Friday and Saturday evenings so I can’t do much fun stuff on those days. They feel like they can call you in whenever they want. It can block your schoolwork quite a bit. Customers are sometimes rude. If you can’t hear an instruction the first two times they get angry. You only know roughly when you can clock out so making plans after hours is difficult. There’s loads of hot objects so I get a couple burns every week (but they properly treat it).

  • Best thing

My store had 4 manager 3 of them were amazing 1 was not. It was a great place to have fun make friends with free food and discount

    Worst thing

One of the managers was lazy always sat in officer when we need help for orders also the hours were terrible because all managers cared about was their labour. Short staffed was always a problem the main manager couldn’t plan a rota to save her life

    5.5

Employee at Domino’s Pizza, June 2023

  • Best thing

Good place to work with good people especially if you enjoy driving. Good for oooortunities to progress

    Worst thing

Breaks aren’t given, you take one if you want one only if you get chance. Pay is dreadful for someone who isn’t on highest tier minimum wage and that’s for doing exactly the same job. Often get 3-5am finishes and can be driving 200 miles a night, can be stressful if your close if too. Staff cars are basically non existent as they are all broken so good luck getting one unless if your car is broken. Id say go in store or don’t work late nights if you’re like me and months away from a levels. I have not taken my own advice and it shows

    4.2

Delivery driver at Domino’s Pizza, February 2023

  • Best thing

The work is fairly easy and team members are friendly and are always willing to help each other out.

    Worst thing

Busy tea-time rushes on Fri / Sat days can be very stressful. Even on normal weekdays when less staff are present can be stressful since the goal labour margin is smaller that most businesses. Taking holidays can be difficult especially during the summer, time must be booked off well in advance. Unsociable hours and working weekends without fail is unfortunately a part of working at a food establishment. After working with the company for so long, however, you get used to it.
